The Texas Panhandle

Not my home page, but my page on home.

roadrunnerIf you are from a small town and leave home and move across the country or better yet to another country how do you answer the question "Whereyafrom?" If you are from Atlanta or Detroit no problem. But.........

"Whereyafrom?"

Pampa, Texas.

"Where?"

Pampa. It's about 55 miles east of Amarillo.

" Oh yea, That's uh..."

 In the panhandle.

"The panhandle?"

You know. Up in the top part of Texas

"OK,  I'm with you. Let's see now..."

Well, this is probably not the real reason, after all Amarillo is known world wide, that I now say...

"I'm from the Top O Texas!"
